New details reveal that four men have been arrested in connection to the death of Oscar winner Phillip Seymour Hoffman.

After a raid on Tueday night, the NYPD have arrested four men in connection with Philip Seymour Hoffman’s death on Sunday. According to the reports, police arrested two suspected heroin dealers and two others who happened to be at the apartment.

More than 350 envelopes filled with heroinwere found in the apartment. According to the New York Times, none of the envelopes were labeled “Ace of Spades” or “Ace of Hearts,” as the bags found in Hoffman’s apartment were.

Police arrested Robert Vineberg, 57, and Thomas Kushman, 48, on felony drug possession charges. Two other people, Max Rosenblum and Juliana Luchkiw, both 22, were also arrested and face charges of criminal use of drug paraphernalia, criminal possession of a controlled substance, and unlawful possession of marijuana

When asked by the New York Post, Vineberg denied selling heroin to Hoffman. “I did not,” he said as he was led to police cars.

Earlier Tuesday, police officials said the heroin found in Hoffman’s apartment did not test positive for fentanyl, a chemical additive responsible for at least 22 recent overdoses in the Northeast.
