3 Fierce Looks That Ignited NY Fashion Week 2014

Fashion Week 2014 is everything and this year there we have 3 stand out fashions from The Blonds, Mulleavy and Zang Toi that set the runway on fire!

When you think fashion one thing comes to mind and that is cutting edge, daring and sophistication so CelebNMusic247.com has three of The Hottest styles we feel hit the runway at NY Fashion Week 2014.

First off is The Blonds with their take on Gotham’s fierce side of things with a claw-vacious Catwoman design that scratches!

When it comes to New York Fashion Week shows, The Blonds definitely have more fun than maybe everyone else. The dynamic duo of David and Phillipe Blond always seem to find inspiration in the most unlikely of places, their shows are always campy but never corny, forever nailing the exact frequency of BANANAS at which to oscillate. For Fall 2014 they looked to Gotham City, more specifically Catwoman circa Michelle Pfeiffer and Tim Burton’s Batman Returns. – MTV

Next, the Mulleavy sisters, self confessed sci-fi fanatics and American fashion’s dreamers pushing the envelope of fashion meets pop art with Star Wars and its many iconic heros. It was true nostalgic 80s glory with the rebel alliance of  Star Wars.

The floor-length silk charmeuse gowns, with Swarovski crystal-embroided smocking, featured archived prints of Luke Skywalker, Yoda, C-3PO and R2-D2 (all made with the blessing of Disney and the films’ creator George Lucas). – Daily Mail

Third we have to give it to Zang Toi for these amazing spring looks during New York Fashion week. The Clever ellegance and sleek upscale look says, “I’m on my way to a important meeting and yes huni I have money!”

Zang Toi took the audience on a journey to Shanghai and the 1930s with this “Paris of the Orient” collection. There was definitely a mobster feel to the collection with the wool tweed double-breasted blazers and wide-leg pants. The tweedy looks were followed by gorgeous Shanghainese Tai Tai suits and coats, long black and lime green silk empress gowns. The lime ostrich feather mini cape and pouf was a head turner.
